Atelier Nord explores how little a portfolio needs: a strict grid, two typefaces, generous whitespace and photography-first project pages. Built as a study in restraint for creative professionals who want their work to speak.
The challenge
Architecture portfolios must feel calm and precise, yet still guide visitors somewhere: to the studio's contact. Minimalism easily tips into emptiness — the structure has to carry the elegance.
The solution
A modular grid with deliberate breaks: full-bleed project imagery interrupts the column rhythm at defined points. Navigation stays reduced to the essentials, with an always-visible path to the contact page.
The result
A portfolio system that scales from five to fifty projects without redesign — including a flexible case study template and a print-inspired typographic hierarchy.
